Skid Steer Loaders, commonly known as Skid Steers are highly maneuverable pieces of equipment that can be used with a wide variety of attachments and for multiple functions. Because of their unique design and differences from other equipment, it is imperative that the operator have a good understanding of the operating principles. FSN’s Skid Steer program includes a classroom session covering skid steer operational theory, regulations & safety features as well as hands-on training to give the operator a basic understanding of how the equipment works.

Skid Steer Loaders (1/2 Day)
Intended For: Operators who want to learn the basics of operating this equipment
Prerequisites: None required but recommend at least some hands-on experience with the equipment.
Course Content: The course will cover the operating principles of the skid steer as well as the legal requirements, safety features, basic operation, attachments & emergency procedures. A classroom session followed by limited hands-on training will be done.
Valid For: FSN recommends retraining after 3 years
