Telescopic handlers or telehandlers are widely used machines in construction, agriculture and industry. They are similar in appearance and function to a forklift but much more like a crane than forklift. Operators of these must gain a strong understand of how the machine must be stabilized before lifting and how the forks are used in conjunction with the telescopic function.

Telehandlers (1/2 day)

Intended For: Operators who want to learn the basics of operating this equipment

Prerequisites: None required but recommend at least some hands-on experience with the equipment.

Course Content:. FSN’s course covers Provincial  regulations, site hazard assessments, basic operation of the equipment,  safety features and emergency procedures. Both a classroom session and limited hands-on training are included.

Valid For: FSN recommends retraining after 3 years
